Jonathan Jones
I am an experienced psychotherpist and psychodynamic counsellor. I am registered with both the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I have volunteered for Cruse Bereavement Support, the Samaritans and the UK Paruresis Trust and have worked as a counsellor for South Bucks Counselling. I also work as a freelance trainer, which has included developing and delivering training for a range of audiences on aspects of bereavement and grief on behalf of Cruse Bereavement Support.
Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I worked for ten years at the Health and Care Professions Council, a statutory regulator of health and care professionals.
Here are some of my relevant qualifications:
- Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling
- Foundation Certificate from the Institute of Group Analysis
- Psychotherapy and Counselling Certificate from the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF)
I am a Cigna UK HealthCare Registered Provider (Provider Number 221752). I also hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate and have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
I comply with the General Data Protection Regulation and am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
